Messrs Hunter and Nolan report:—Large numbers were entered for r-alc, and the. prices are .still low. Most that were entered wore disposed of. Heavy draughts sold from £12 to £18 10s; medium ditto. £8 10s to £14 ss; light harnoas, M.i 10s lo £10; hacks'£2 to *;< ICs. Sever.il unbroken colts and tiuics sold from £11 10s to *11 os. Cattle : A moderate supplywas entered for sale at the Junction Yards, and the market was slightly improved. Fat oxen brought from £-i 17s (id to £o 17« Cd ; lat cows, £3 10s to £5 7s Gd. Sheep : Prices still remain low. Wethers brought 5s Gd to .Ss !)d ; fat ewes, 5s 3d to 7s S'd. Lambs were entered m large numbers, and sold from 3s Gd to Bs. Figs were scarce, and sold at late quotations.
