The s.s. Anglian left for Sydney last evening.
The barque Casa Blanca re-commenced her voyage to London yesterday afternoon, the repairs to her yards having beeii completed.
This morning the s.s. Hawea was floated out of dock after cleaning and painting. She leaves for Sydney this evening.
A large steamer, supposed to be the s.s. "YVanaka, from Calcutta and Singapore to Auckland, passed Cape Brett at 5.45 a.m. to-day. She should arrive here at about 4 o'clock this afternoon.
The Cape Otway, one of the latest additions to the A.U.S.N. Company's fleet, has arrived at Melbourne from Glasgow. She is- a steel vessel, built at Glasgow by Russell and Co., and is 325 ft lon«, with 40ft beam and 14ft Gin deptli of hold. Her gross tonnage is 2,664, and registered 1,718. The Cape Otway is to be employed in the intercolonial trade between Sydney and Perth. Two other ships purchased by the Company, the Cape Leeuwin and the Paroo, are expected to arrive shortly.
