HAMILTON ATHLETIC CLUB.

The sports meeting of this popular Club, held on Boxing Day, passed off most successfully. There was a good attendance and everything tended to make the day pass pleasantly. The various events were well contested, some of the finishes being very exciting; that in the Quarter Mile in which three men ran a dead heat for first place being particularly so. In the 220 yard event four competitors were disqualified, and the race run over again owing to jostling. The following are the results:—
