HOURS OF LABOUR IN ENGLAND.
TRADE CONFERENCE
LONDON, December 24. A conference of the engineering and a hundred'other trades has been discussing a proposal to co-operate to demand fiftyone hours weekly. A resolution was passed, but its nature has not been allowed to transpire. At the National Convention ot the Trades Union of Great Britain 160 unions will be represented.
