The usual half-yearly meetin of the Exchange Goldmining Company called for Friday afternoon lapsed for want of a quorum. The balance-sheet showed the receipts for the past year to have been £287 16s Id, and the expenditure £273 14s 7d, leaving a balance of £14 Is 6d. A general meeting of shareholders in the Golden Spark Goldmining Company, Coromandcl, called for Friday at Mr W. H. Churton's office, lapsed for want of a quorum. The Company's balance in the bank on November 30th was £46 6s 2d. Visitors from the country shouk see the great variety and wonderful value being given by Geo.
