THE WAR OFFICE AND AUSTRALIAN LEATHER.
LONDON, December 22. The Marquis of Lansdowne states there is no desire to penalise the use of Australian leather at the War Office. The regulations are merely insisted on so that the leather required by the authorities should be British and tanned with oak bark.
