COLLISION IN NEWCASTLE HARBOUR.
SYDNEY, December'l6;
The steamers Lubra and Celtic King collided in Newcastle harbour. The Lubra's stem was bent, and several plates buckled. The damage is estimated at £600. The Celtic King was completing a cargo of wool and frozen meat for London. Her plates were cut through just above the water line, and several buckled. The damage is £2,000. She conies to Sydney to be blocked and repaired.
