MINE MANAGERS' REPORT.
Hauraki Main Lodes.—No. 1 crosscut has been advanced to a total distauce of 220 feet, and the face is in excellent country. The No. 1 reef cut in this crosscut has become more compact, is highly mineralised, and looks exceedingly favourable, and although not payable it has proved itself gold-bearing whereever assayed. No. 2 crosscut has been continued to a distance of 123 feet. This is still in hard unfavourable rock ; the face, however, gives indications of a change. New Golden Point (Tapu).—ln the top drive on Bull's reef above the intermediate level 21 feet has been driven. The reef has become smaller, but colours of gold were seen when last breaking down.
