GUN THEE AFFI CE. I beg to notify that on and after the First January, 1898, the AUCKLAND DISTRICT AGENCY of this Company will be carried on at the HEAD OFFICE FOR THE COLONY IN SHORTLAND STREET, where FORMS OF PROPOSAL and any other information will be supplied. The SUN INSURANCE OFFICE is the oldest purely Fire Office in the World, having been established for ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SEVEN YEARS, and has always maintained a very high reputation amongst Fire Insurance Companies, a circumstance to be attributed to the liberality which has at all times characterised its transactions with the public, and the promptitude with which it has discharged all claims made upon it. The extent of the business transacted by the SUN FIRE OFFICE may be estimated from the fact that the total sum insured by it on the 31st December, 1896, amounted to £388,952,000. Insurances effected at the current rates of premium. F. H. PICKERING, General Manager N.Z. Shortland-street, 21st December, 1897.
