The return for the past month from the Hauraki mine at Coromandel was again satisfactory, 235 tons of general quartz and 2851b of picked stone having yielded 4500z lSdAvt of melted bullion worth £2 19s 4d per oz, making the value of the output £1,337 13s 4d. During the previous month a larger quantity of ore was treated, 2SO tons yielding £1,646.
