A DEADLOCK
BERLIN, November^.
Germany claims that China shall execute the murderers of the missionaries and pay an indemnity of 600,000 taels, besides the costs of the present occupation of Kaio chau. The Chinese GoA'ernment have offered to make reasonable reparation if Kaio-chau is first evacuated. A deadlock over the negotiations exists at present.
