NOTICE is hereby given that by a Proclamation signed by His Excellency the Governor and dated the sixteenth day of November, 1897, it is directed that theBridge over the Tamaki River at Panmure,. on the Panmure tT-lowick Road, shall from and after the date of the said Proclamation be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Pakuranga Road Board, -and by the said Proclamation it is fixed and. determined that the; cost of maintaining, repairing, improving, or reconstructing the said bridge shall be borne by the Pakuranga Road Board in the pi-oportion of twenty-five per centum, the Mount Wellington Road Board sixteen per centum, Panmure Road Board sixteen per centum, Howick Road Board twelve per centum, Paparoa Road Board nine per centum, Tamaki' West Road Board nine per centum, Turanga Road Board six per centum, Tamaki East Road Board four per centum, and Maretai Road Board three per centum of the cost, and that the proportion payable by the said Road Boards shall be paid within a period of thirty days after a demand in writing made by :or on behalf of the Pakuranga Road Board shall have been left at the offices of the said Road Boards.
