The foreshore of MamvkauHarbour leased for oyster beds is 9,900 lineal yards from hi^'h water mark (not square yards as previously stated). The portion of the foreshore still open to be leased for oyster beds is 1,200 yards length. A Crown lands sale was held this mornin"- in the Crown Lands Office, Mr Gerhard Mueller acting as auctioneer. Lot 32, section 2, of 2 roods 14 perches, in the Howick township, was purchased by Mr George Sellwood at the upset price of £11 15s. Lot 10, of 3 acres 3 roods 15 perches, in Mercer, was sold to Mr Andrew Bell at the upset price of £7 13s 9d. Lot I, block 32, in Opua, was bought by Mr William Stewart at the upset price or £2 2s 6d. Block XL, section IS, in Hokianga, was purchased by Mr Edwin Mitc-helson at the upset price of £10. The General Trust Board of the diocese of Auckland purchased lot 140, section 4, of 1 acre 3 roods 30. ' perches, at the upset price of £1 10s. JXQ I offer was received for the island of Motukaraka, 2,000 pairs of curtains by Rangatira at Conrt Bros'.—(Advt.)
