FREE FIGHT IN THE AUSTRIAN REICHSRATH.
A CHAIR THROWN AT THE
PRESIDENT.
KNIFE AND REVOLVER IN
EVIDENCE,
THE POLICE RESTORE ORDER.
VIENNA, September 25. A most disgraceful scene occurred in the Reichsrath.
German Slav members fought for half an hour.
A chair was thrown at the President of the Chamber, who lied, while his deputy drew a knife, but was disarmed before he could use it.
Another member threatened to use a revolver.
Deputies Schoenerer and Wolf had the clothes torn from their bodies, while two others were nearly choked in the struggle. Ladies in the gallery screamed, -while men shouted "disgraceful." The police finally interfered to restore order.
