Winds between northwest and west and south at all places. Barometer very little movement northward of Napier and New Plymouth, further rise at all other places. Sea heavy on all western coast increasing on East Coast southward of East Cape. Tides high on all Western Coast and on East Coast southward of East Cape, moderate elsewhere.
Southerly gales are to he expected at all places south of East Cape, Taupo, and JN Tew Plymouth.
