PARNELL.
The Mayoral election in the Borough of Paniell took place yesterday and resulted as follows :— N. W. Pollard... 163 Joseph Thornes 130 Mr N. W. Pollard was therefore declared elected as Mayor for the ensuing year. ONEHUNGA. The Onehunga Mayoral election was held yesterday and resulted as follows : — Frederick W. Court 129 John D. Jackson ... ... 67 ' Informal ... ... ... 4 Mr Court was declared duly elected. THAMES. The Thames Mayoral contest yesterday resulted in the return of Mr William Scott, by a majority of 93 over his opponent (Mr Frank Trenibath). The number of votes polled by each was 291 and 19S res; -c.-cively.
