Another certificate on behalf of a member of Parliament was 'presented to Mr Greenfield, S.M., in tiie Magistrate's Court this morning in connection with a case in which. £29 odd was claimed. Judgment had been given against the member,°and he applied on Tuesday last for a re-hearing (on the ground that his absence was unavoidable), which was granted on certain conditions, which had not been complied with, and His Worship this morning said as the action had been voluntary on the member's part and as t,he conditions set down had not been complied with he could not accept the certificate. The application for re-hearing, was, therefore, struck out, and the former judgment for the plaintiff stands good.
