Wind between north and west and southwest at all places northward of iNapier and New Plymouth, and southward ot Timaru and Queenstown, and between north-east and north and west at all other places. Barometer fall northward of Napier and New Plymouth, further fall elsewhere. Sea heavy on all western coast and southward of Napier, Tides high on all western coast and southward of ISapier, moderate elsewhere. Strong westerly winds are to be expected at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, northerly gales probably with rain from thence to Timaru and Hokitika, and westerly gales with rain elsewhere.
