SPORTS AT COROMANDEL.

COROMANDEL, Wednesday,
The annual sports in connection with the Foresters' .Society took place yesterday and proved an unqualified success. There was a large attendance of the public, including a number of visitors from Auckland and Thames. The visiting Foresters were entertained at luncheon, tastefully spread on the large verandah at the Golconda Hotel, after which all adjourned to the grounds. The various events were well contested.
