RAILWAY TO BULUWAYO,
THE DYNAMITE DUTIES.
FRENCH EVACUATE SAKI,
1 CAPETOWN, November 5. Sir Alfred Milner, Governor of Cape Colony, opened the railway to Buluwayo, in Matabeleland. A great assemblage from all parts of the colony witnessed the ceremony. Mr Chamberlain sent a message of congratulation to the settlers on completion of the work. PRETORIA, November 5. The Volksraad has by a majority of one referred the question of the proposed reduction of dynamite duties to the legal advisers of the Government. LONDON, November 5. The French force have evacuated Saki, in the Niger company's territory, and which they recently took possession of.
