Monday.—Gairloch leaves for New Plymouth at 1 p.m.; Ngunguru for Whangarei Town Wharf at 10 p.m.; Wellington arrives from Whangarei; Kanieri leaves for Hokianga at lp.ru. ; Waiotahi leaves for Tauranga and Opotiki at 7 p.m. ; lona for the Great Barrier at 10 p.ni. • Tuesday.—Waitangi leaves on an excursion to Coromandel at 6 a.m.; Clansman, on an excursion to Waiheke at 9.30 a*m. ; / Wellington to Waiwera at 10 a.m. ; Clansman leaves for Russell, Whangaroa, and Mongonui at 7 p.m. ; Muritai for Kuaotunu,- Mercury Bay, and Kennedy's Bay, at midnight; Coromandel leaves for Waiheke at 9 a.m.. and returns about 5 p.m. , •' Thames Service.'—Steamers leave for, Thames, Paeroa, and Coromandel daily. A smart piece, pf work is reported from H.M.s. Pylades.;' In a heavy sea, while reefing topsail^,, a blue-jacket fell overboard. He-'canie down from the foretopgallant yap^- and disappeared beneath a huge wave, for some moments, and then was seen a\%y astern, swimming on the crest of a w#!ve. Swiftly a boat was manned and o>it, and while the Pylades was rounding to Regan, the missing tar was hauled into the lifeboat. • '
