THE CYANIDE PROCESS,
The Cyanide Process Gold Extraction Bill was read a second time pro forma and referred to the Mines Committee.
The Slaughtering and Inspection Bill was read a second time and referred to the Pastoral and Agricultural Committee. The Land and Income Assessment Bill was read a second time and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
The Explosives Act Amendment Bill, which vests the administration of the Explosives Act in the Minister of Defence, was read a second time.
After the supper adjournment the House discussed the second reading of the Bill to relieve the lessees of coal mines at Ngakawau of certain liabilities. The second reading was agreed to. The Native Land Laws Amendment Bill was referred to the Railways Committee, and the House adjourned a at five minutes past twelve.
