Wind between north and west and southwest at all places northward of Timaru and Queenstown, and between west and south and south-east elsewhere. Barometer rise at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth ; further fall, but rising after six hours, elsewhere; sea moderate generally. Tides good, but decreasing everywhere.
Moderate to strong westerly winds are probable at all places northward of Timaru and Queenstown, and strong southerly winds in the southern districts.
