COROMANDEL HARBOUR BOARD

COROMANDEL, Wednesday.
At a meeting of the Harbour Board last ni^ht a deputation presented two resolutions passed at a recent public meeting. Captain Swindley moved that the resolutions be given effect to, meaning that all wharfage dues be abolished. There was no seconder. It was then proposed by Mr H. G Gatland, and seconded by the Chairman, Mr C. McFarlane, "That a Committee consisting of four be appointed to draw up a scheme of administration whereby expenses shall be reduced." This was carried. ,
