PRESIDENT KRUGER.
PRETORIA, November 2,
President Kruger's live years' term as President of the South African Republic expires in April, 1898, and iti spite of the recent announcement that he was-suffering fromßright's disease and could hardly live more than IS months he intends to seek re-election. In consequence of the attitude assumed by the President with reference to the report of the Industrial Commission, his selection will bej opposed, his rival being S. W. Burger, one ot the unofficial members of the Executive Council.
