DROWNING FATALITY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day. The police have received news of the drowning of a man named George Buckingham, off Kapiti, on Thursday last. Deceased and a man named Charles Low were out together in a fishing boat off the island, when the boat was struck by a squall and capsized. Low was saved, but Buckingham's body has not been seen since. The state of the weather has prevented the news being reported until now.
