BANDS ASSOCIATION.
—:——,» ;— (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU, Tuesday. The Bands Association this morning resolved to hold the next contest in Christchurch, if the Christehurch people undertake to make the necessary arrangements. It was decided to hold the contest five weeks earlier, or after the New Year holidays, also that one selection befrom oratorio. The next annual meeting will be held in Oamaru at Easter. . The following is the order in which the bands were placed in the quickstep: Oamaru 14G points, Timaru 143, Wellington 140, Waimate 130, Kaikorai 121.
