THE A.R.C. SPRING MEETING. On Saturday next at Ellerslie will be commenced the three days' spring meeting o f the Auckland Racing Club. Some interesting racing should be witnessed on the first day, for one and all of the events bear an open'appearance. The Guineas will probably attract half-a-dozen starters, and oach have their partisans. Of the Ellersjie trained division, Coronet, Miss Emmy and Sfc Crispin are most in favour, while tie Manure trained Favona is a candidate wen a chance. Miss Anna (by St. Hippo llnna) may also require to be reckoned rith, 0i the lot in "the City Handicap Fabulist should prove the winner. Fifteen juveniles are engaged in the Musket Stakes, including: the Medallion filly Victoria Cross, brought up from Napier in the early part of the week. Blue Jacket is a candidate that has pleased the touts immensely. ■ The following shows the breeding of those engaged in the Musket Stakes: —
