SALE OF "FOFEITED MINING COMPANY SHARES.
(To the Editor.)
Sir—l observe in your journal certain Tin Hoes to the effect that shares on wScaUsdue on the 13th ult. had not been paid were forfeited and would be sold by auction on the 9th November. Now tie Act allows 14 days before forfeiture. On the 23rd, then the shares were not forfeited. The 9th November is also a public holiday, when ■ none except those in the "know" will likely attend the sale. I am, etc
