Colours of gold are stilFfuequently 'seell when breaking down the reef, which maintains its usual size, and runs through an excellent channel of country. It is intended to erect an aerial tram and battery of ten stamps shortly, as the prospects of the mine are encouraging. There are about 100 tons of ore ready for crushing, which will be commenced in a few clays.
