LARGE DISTRIBUTION OF STRIKE PAY.

The engineers have definitely refused to unconditionally withdraw their demand for reduction of working hours. A further distribution of a quarter million strike pay has been made. Mr John Burns has:appealed to 20,000 eight hour men employed by the Government to subscribe one shilling per week towards the Engineers' Strike Funds. ■ ' .
