EXTRAORDINARY CHARGE OF IMPOSTURE.
SYDNEY, November 1.
Several Sydney papers recently reported the arrival of Earl Hardwicke, who ; fcad iust completed a tour of New Zealand. They cave His Lordship's impressions about the colonies, and society apparently accepted this introduction. The police have arrested Harry Pictor, alias Earl Hardwicke, on a charge of imposing on tke leading jewellers, and other similar charges are alleged to be pending.
