The s.s. Takapuna arrived at 6.30 a.m. yesterday from Southern ports. She left | Wellington on the 22nd, called at New i Plymouth, and left the latter port on the \ 23rd. The Takapuna sailed for New Ply- | mouth and Wellington shortly after 1 ■ o'clock this afternoon. The s.s. Kanieri arrived yesterday afternoon from Waitara. The s.s. Gairloch sailed this afternoon for New Plymouth.
The s.s. Glenelg arrived at 10 a.m. today from Wanganui and Opunake. She left for Hokianga this afternoon.
