Gaulus, who was reported to be amiss, was sent a sound gallop over a mile, which he traversed in 1 man. 48$ sees. Futile registered a mile and a half in 2 mm. 46 sees., finishing- up well. 'Amberite covered the first mile in 1 mill. 48 sees., and completed the mile BDd a quarter in 2 mm. 16-1 sees. Coil occupied three-quarters of a second longer, both looking- blooming- as does 'Anraria, who was restricted to moderate exercise. Essex spurted five furlongs in 1 mm. 6 sees. Delaware, about whom 3,000 to 120 was tabu for the Cup last night, moved pleasingly over a mile and. a' quarter, ■ffaik-bit,covered two miles in 3 mm. & sees, without apparent effort.
