THE NATIVES GREATLY EXCITED.

NEW PLYMOUTH, this day.

Another native fencing dispute occurred at Pungarehu, about four miles from Parihaka, this morning. A number of Maoris pulled down a fence just erected by a halfcaste named Taylor. A rough and tumble ensued. Two of the ringleaders were arrested by Constable Hickman. The natives are greatly excited, and further arrests are expected.
