THE TEACHERS' EXAMINATION;
The following are the results of the Sun-day-school** teachers' examination recently held by the Auckland Sunday - school . The following have also passed : Mr W. D. Hutchinson, Alexandrastreet Primitive Methodist; Miss L. L. Hall, St. Luke's, , Remuera ;* Miss E. Kimbell, Beresford-street Congregational: Mr H. W. Battley, Otahuhu Baptist; Miss J. V. Evans, Birkenhead Wesleyan ; Mr W. J. Cowell, Helping Hand; Miss L. Carter, Ponsonby Baptist; * Misa C. H. Noble, Clevedon, Anglican; Miss C. Christy, Puriri UndenominationaL In Part I of Trumbull's "Teaching and Teachers," Mr Morton Aldis, first prize; Mr H. W. Battley and MrW. G. Edmunds tie for second place and divide the second and third prizes. Also passed: Mr J. F. Hutchinson, Ponsonby Baptist; Miss J. V. Evans, Mr W T. D. Hutchison, Miss A. J. Brady, Tararu Presbyterian ; Miss C. Christy, MrW. J. Cowell, Miss L. Carter and Miss C. H. Noble. In the '-Acts of the Apostles," Miss L Armstrong, Beres-ford-street Congregational, first prize; Miss E. Shepherd, Ponsonby Baptist, second prize ; Mr F. W. Gaze, Tabernacle Baptist, third prize. Also passed: Mr W. Bigelow, Ponsonby Baptist -. Miss N. Dewar, Tabernacle Baptist -, Miss E. V. Wood, Newton Congregational; Mr F. J. Preston, Pitt-street Wesleyan; Mr C. A. Holloway, Newton Congregational. In Part 11. of Trumbull's " Teaching and Teachers," Miss L. Armstrong, first prize ; MrW. Bigelow, second prize; Mr F. W. Gaze, third prize. Also passed: Miss E. Shepherd, Miss N. Dewar, Miss E. "VC Wood, Miss S. A. Bosworth (Tabernacle), Mr F. J. Preston, and Mr C. A. Holloway.
