Wellington, Friday. The Hinemoa has finally abandoned the search for the rock on which the Tasmania struck. Captain Neale states he is satislied no rock exists outside the danger line. A search was made for the patent log, which it was expected would show the distance travelled hy the Tasmania from Gisborne before the wreck, but apparently it had broken away; the diver could not iind it.
