In the Federal Convention length? discussion took place on the Ns* South Wales amendment for proportional representation. On division equal representation was affirmed hy 41 to 5, the noes being Messrs-W ruthers and Lvne, of New SoutJJ Wales, and Messrs Berrv.Higgins.an" Trenwith, of Victoria. ,
