THE EIGHT HOURS' MOVEMENT

The London. United Workers' Society is urging Hit* engineers to abandon'their demands for eight hours as a day's labour. Many other branches of labour are striking .'or the eight hours 'concession. ,_ The Trades Union Congress sitting at, Hiruiiiighaiii passed a resolution denouncing Conspiracy Acts as unjust to workers, and also a resolution in support of tin* miners" demands for an eight hours' day.
