ANGLO-COLONIAL ROWING.

Remarks made by the English Rowing Association on sending home an Australian eight-oared crew by public subscription is supposed to be in reply to a query made by the local Association as to whether there would be any objection to this course. The reply is not regarded as peremptory. The local authorities are convinced that the would be able to make clear to the English. Association that the crew Avould be bona fide amateurs.
