The Fiery Cross Company, by their solicitor (Mr Mahoney), made an tipplication for a certificate that an agreement for an option entered into by this company will 'not prejudicially affect the claims of creditors. This was granted. J. A. Brown was granted an extension for 12 months of his right to a road at Waihi, on which he had spent £500. An application by the Union Jack Gold Mining Company for four months protection was refused by the Warden, as the company had neglected to comply with the regulations since January last, not having applied for any protection or permission since that date. The Woodstock Gold Mining Company's application for an extension of water race No. S4 was adjourned till 2nd December, by consent of the objecting companies (Talisman and Brown), at the end of which time Mr Jackson intimated an arrangement w Tould probably be completed. T. Weston v. T. D. O'Toole: Plaint for forfeiture of the Waitekauri Junction Holding, for non-working and non-pa3*ment of rent. Claim forfeited and defendant declared first applicant. Costs, £3 14s. J. O'Meag-her v. W. D. Smcaton : Claim, £1 13s. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs, £4 6s lid. J. McLellan v. G. H. Purchas: Plaint for forfeiture of the Colewinsor Extended Holding, for non-working and non-payment of rent. Claim -forfeited plaintiff declared first applicant. Costs, £3 14s.

H. Gilfillan, junr., was granted permission to work the Waitete Claim with four men for four months.
