Morning Star (Kennedy Bay).—The reef was cut to-day about loin wide, showing gold in the stone. Hauraki North.—Work was resumed {n the western drive yesterday, and to-day it little gold was seen in the face, which ihows that the reef is gold bearing for a very long distance. Preparations are now juicier way for rising on the No. 1 shoot of cold in the western drive. Sinking cannot be resumed until the boiler tubes are in oosition.
