In the football match played on Saturday, Hovers defeated the TJ nion team by six to nil. Surman secured a try, and Mitchell kicked a penalty goal. The f round was in a very sloppy state. Hovers aye thus won the senior championship, ■with four-wins, two draws, two losses. Thames 11. defeated Native Hose by five points to nil. The School of Mines team is leading.for the Junior Championship.
