THAMES WARDEN'S COURT.
Thames, this day
The applications of Peter Norbury for the Cotopaxi special claim, at the head of the Hihi Creek, and of William Blomiield for the Ruby special claim, Tairua, which were refused on Thursday, when called yesterday were re-instated, the Warden remarking that upon reconsidering the matter, and thinking that perhaps the applicants were under the impression that the areas were situated on the blocks with which he had no power to deal, and that for that reason they had not appeared, lie had decided to re-instate the applications, and to adjourn them to October sth. This would enable the applicants to make further inquiries. The Court then adjourned to Tuesday next.
