The Drumtochty niantioneel in the " Bonnits Briar Buah " ia really Drumlochy, a farm in the Lorny district) ;'but the name may have been derived from Drumtochty, in Kincardine, an eataba belonging to the brother of a Blairgowrie gentleman — Colonel Gammoll.
