J. Rae has returned from his visit bo the West Coast. He brought with him a full brother to Hopeful and a full sister to Jenny. Messrs Percival, Alison and Hayr, delegates bo the Racing Conference, leave for Wellington on Monday next. Mr Evitb also leaves for the Empire City, on the same day to perform his handicapping duties. The jumpers Mozel, Reflection and Hairylogs aro to be shipped to Gisborne tomorrow to fulfil racing engagements.
The spaedy filly Miss Rose ia being indulged in a spoil at Sylvia Park just now. She looks remarkably well. J. Gallagher, the well-known local horseman, returned ab bhe ond of laab week from Rotorua. where he has been recuperating for bhe pasb month. His many admirers will be glad to hear thab he is as good as new again.
" Delaware " in Sydney " Truth " has tabulated Calbee More's pedigree on the Bruce Lowe numbered ayebem. He points oub that bhe "nick" which ia responsible for this colt's excellence is the double strain of Sbockwell (3) and bho double strain of Thormanby (11) by Windhound (3), and on figures the atrength of the pedigree comes from bhe 11 and 3 families, aa Stockwell is a grandson of Birdcatcher (11).
