Tho annual mooting of tho Waihi Extended G.M. Company was held this morning at the oliico of Mr l>. G. Macclonnc'l. Mr A. Wright presided, and thoro was a largo attendance. Tho balanco-sheob to May 31sb, showed tho receipts to bo £1,192 Is lOd, and expenditure £1,097 4-i 5.1, leaving tx credit cash balanco of £94 17s sd, and £329 7_ 2d duo to sundry creditors. The late in in a manager's report ivai road deserib ng tho works carried oirb on tho property. The directors' report sfcatod thab six months' absolute protection had been obtained last December, and all work since then had been suspended. The discoveries lately made in the WaihiCompany'-. properties had enablod them to locate tho course of bho Martha reef through the Waihi Extended claim, and thoy proposed sinking n shaft to work i.hab reef. On the motion of Mr W. Caudin, tho reporb and balance-sheet wero adopted. Tho retiring directors, Mohsts Oorbett and Malcolm, and tho auditor, Mr Youn^r, wore ro-electod. The Chairman said the prospects for next year were very good. Thoy would find thab fcho inina would be second only to tho Waihi mine itself.
