PROGRESS CASTLE ROCS
The manager telegraphed to-day : — "Broke down the reef this morning; gob about 361b of good atone." ORIENTAL. An extraordinary meeting of shareholders in tho above Company was held to-day in in the office ot Mr Franz Scherff, when Mr R. Walker presided. A resolution was passed authorising and empowering the directors to sell and dispose of tho whole of the properby of the Company bo the Al Gold Mining Company ((No-liability) for shares in the said Company, and on such other terms and conditions as the said direcbora may think fife. PRINCESS MAY. A special general meeting of shareholders in the above Company was held this afternoon in the above Company's office, when there was a large attendance. Mr E. Bell presided. The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the future course of action in connection wibh the development of the mino. It was explained that the property was still underoffer and ibwas agreed to make a call of one farthing to cover liabilities and carry on until definito news was received from England. The Chairman stated thab an application had been made for cix months protection of the mine.
