Thames, this day. At the police Oourb this morning, George Oaborse appeared, on remand, charged with attempting to murder Samuel Agnew on tho 27th March. Sergb. Gillies etated fchab the injured man was still in tho Hospital and not out of danger. . He asked for a further remand of eigbb days. Mr Clendon again applied for bail, stating thab the tiring of the revolver was an acci< dental occurrence. Sorgfc. Gillies said, as far as the affair being an accident, ha thought his evidence would pub a very different constitution on the case. Tho bench said, constructing the dangerous nf!ate of the wounded man, they were nob justified in granting bail.
