NINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.

CLUB.—The various developments in the mine hava been energetically carried on during the week. The new low level is now tfell in hand,

Kaitoke.— Any amount of quartz is lying on the surface, but, so far, no defined reef has been met with in the trench.

Stanut.—Tha eastern portion of the Mammoth lode should be picked up ab any shift now in tho crosecub. The low level is no« in 563 ft. A decided change has taken place, and the lode ia now dipping a lifctio to tho eaab a&d ia more favourable for gold. The lode upon being tasted continues to (five fair results. In the croascub stringers of quartz are now being rneb with. Prinoivbs.— Tho low level is in 90ft. A good claas ot country is being penetrated in which are a lob of manganese seams.

Mount Argentiim.—The drive i Bin 220 ft, A reef 3ft 6in thick has jusb been cub through. The quartz looks a. bit "buclcy," bub a email vein on the hangingwall appears better. A few feeb further bask a reef was cub which ebould junction with the new one a little lower down. This lode is one foot thick and appears to bejmprovidg as ib goe« into the hill. OkhMal Proprietary.—The drive is ia 54fHn greyish eaadsbone. AoiEAi— The drive i« in 90fb; A good substantial dwellinghouee has been erected on the eroded. .

Dover Castle (Pnriri).—No. 2 reef: A fiiKance of 6fb has been driven on this reef. Avetyfair prospect is obtained when the «M 8 rabble is washed off in the diah. Ab WMto we are timbering this level up to the fade.

Viotoeu.—Driving east and west on the Ittdfcr at the intermediate level ia proMWing, and most encouraging results are Wing met) with in each of tho facen. Three "opea .are now ia progress easb and Wal of the winze. Tho ore from these Mntinaea to show a little gold ab each freaking down, and to yield frequently a '^pounds of picked etone. Crushing will prsbably be commenced on Thursday. Eivira (Waik»n4e).—A wlnza has been iwrted on the new reef crosping the toandary of the Elvira and City of Htibpurne. The quartz looks very well, "? a few loose colours of coarße gold "•M 86b on the surface.
